BOSTON — The 2022 Boston Calling music festival is almost upon us and soon national acts like Metallica, Nine Inch Nails, The Strokes, Rufus Du Sol and Goose will take the stage at Harvard Athletic Complex over Memorial Day weekend.

But if you're going to enjoy the fun, make sure you pack a poncho, as there's some rain in the Boston weather forecast this weekend.

The chance of rain is 25 percent for Friday at Boston Calling, when Nine Inch Nails, Rufus Du Sol, Avril Lavigne and HAIM are scheduled to take the stage. But for those looking to see The Strokes and Run the Jewels on Saturday, pack your rain coat. Boston is expected to see a rainy afternoon and possibly some thunderstorms, according to AccuWeather.
