Every once in a while, a sneaker custom comes along that changes absolutely everything, and the Nike Air Max 1 "Protection Pack" by designer and shoemaker @margiello_ is one of them.

Inspired by the New Balance 2002R collection of the same name, more specifically the "Rain Cloud", these Air Max 1s work on top of a grey mesh base while darker leather panels make their way throughout. Supple suede embraces the mudguards and lacing system, complete with the deconstructed jagged edges that were made famous by the aforementioned NB.

Soft yellow accenting can be found on the tongue branding, and underneath it all, the midsole is dipped in an off-white hue. To round it all off, the Nike Air bubble at the heel arrives in a bold green tone, finalising the New Balance-inspired design.

The Nike Air Max 1 "Protection Pack" custom launched on March 29th with just ten pairs available. We're not entirely sure if a wider release is coming, so make sure you keep it locked at the artist's official Instagram page for more information!
